Wheels

High end Billet Specialties wheel. The wheel on the left was polished to its maximum using a buffer and a well known brand of polishing compound. The right wheel was cleaned & polished with Metalwax by hand in 4 minutes. You be the judge. Which wheel would you rather have on your classic?

Metal Wax gel will never leave a white film like Brand X. The right wheel was polished by hand. No Brand X Power Ball, no machine buffers necessary.

Can you get this result with your present wheel polish?

If not, you better get Metalwax!

Have you been a victim of cheap spray on wheel cleaners?

Acid Burned Wheels: Once you’ve burned your wheels with acid it's not easy to bring them back. Metal Cleaner HP is the best shot at recovery. The reason: our cleaner will actually lift the acid out of the metal pores to remove the common white streaks. These streaks occur because the wheel coating is too thin or has pin holes where your spray cleaner went through to the metal where it was etched. Other products cannot remove stains. They are merely a liquid paste compound that utilizes grinding power; which is ultimately damaging your investment. Metalwax products supply you with a system that removes acid burns and a polish for metal and plastic, which is the coating on your anodized wheels.

Below photos: Before and After of a common lower end aftermarket aluminum wheel. Photo on the left shows typical shine decay which is a build up from Brand X polishing compounds. The same wheel on the right after cleaning and polishing with Metalwax Mini Tri Pack.
This Alcoa front wheel below is what an aluminum wheel should look like. If yours doesn't, it is likely coated with left over polishing compound that creates a hazy look. Metal Cleaner Standard Strength will remove the left over polish from previous products and give you that clear “glassy look.”
